PASSPORT APPLICATIONS
To determine your eligibility for renewing your passport online, please visit the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship (PICA) website at https://www.pica.gov.jm/. Be sure to read the eligibility information as this service is provided to individuals renewing a Machine-Readable Passport and have had no change in name or marital status.
- MINORS, FIRST-TIME ADULT PASSPORT APPLICANTS, PERSONS HAVING LOST OR DAMAGED PASSPORTS MUST APPLY IN-PERSON AT THE JAMAICAN HIGH COMMISSION.
- FOR APPLICANTS VISITING THE HIGH COMMISSION, THE PASSPORT APPLICATION FORM AND PHOTOGRAPH OF THE APPLICANT WILL BE CERTIFIED.
- MAIL-IN APPLICATIONS MUST BE CERTIFIED BY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PERSONS PRIOR TO THE SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION
* Justice of the Peace * Notary Public * Attorney-at-law
* Medical Doctor * Minister of Religion authorized to perform marriages
- RENEWAL OF ADULT PASSPORTS MAY BE DONE THROUGH THE POST OR IN-PERSON BY APPOINTMENT
- EACH APPLICANT MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR HIMSELF/HERSELF.

Kindly note that the processing time for Citizenship by Descent application is 6-9 months.
CITIZENSHIP AND PASSPORT APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED SIMULTANEOUSLY.
VISA APPLICATIONS
For VISAS, applications are to be sent through the post by recorded delivery. These take a minimum of 20 business days to process after they are invoiced. Please click here for details.

Please note that Notarisation/Legalization/Authentication services are provided on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
